Faded

The walls are slowly burning down.
The last few embers are  burning out.
I still stand alone.
Looking past each and every burn..
Wondering when it's your turn
To feel the pain I've felt.
I look into your eyes..only to see
That the love you once had, has faded away.
Just like the embers
From the walls of my heart.
Somehow you've managed
To tear me apart.

From my endless supply of love
To my infinite happiness.
Somehow now..
My emotions seem lifeless.
My thoughts are a mess.
Now it seems like
I can't get out of this.
As much as I struggle
As much as I fight.
It seems as tho now
I can't do anything right.
I hear your voice.
It fills my head with questions
Wondering if maybe
The clean up crew has arrived.
I guess I'll never know..
